CABO

Cabo San Lucas (Los Cabos) is a precious jewel of Mexico located at the southernmost tip of one of the world's longest, wildest and most spectacular Baja Peninsula.  Los Cabos is a magical place where you will discover miles of pristine white-sand beaches and sparkling blue water surrounded by the towering La Laguna mountains as a scenic backdrop.

The climate is warm throughout most of the year, with an average temperature of 79º F.  The best time to visit Los Cabos is summer when the waters of Magdalena Bay are perfect for snorkeling or to enjoy a romantic getaway on a pristine beach.   At the very tip of Cabo is the worlds only beach where you can swim in two different bodies of water – the Sea of Cortez on one side and the Pacific Ocean on the other.  The Sea of Cortez is emerald green, fresh, and warm while right across is the Pacific Ocean - blue, salty, and cool.  Swimming here is like jumping back and forth between the pool and Jacuzzi.

One of the most popular attractions is El Arco, a rocky arch formation considered a landmark of Los Cabos.  It looks like a giant dinosaur leaning down and drinking water.  At the base of the arch is Lovers Beach which is only accessible every two years during summer when the tide is low.  To go to Los Cabos and not see the arch is having milk with out cookies… or shall we say samosa without chutney.

Every summer thousands of tourists from all over the world come to Los Cabos for its natural beauty and its great offering of sun, surf, snorkeling, golfing and nightlife. Whether you prefer shopping or just lying on a gorgeous beach, you will find it in Cabo.  The best thing about Los Cabos is that it’s not very commercialized.   It remains one of Mexico’s most beautiful and exclusive destinations.  Sail the Masala Cruise in Aug 2007 to Cabo San Lucas and see firsthand why locals call it a slice of heaven!
